Ringette PEI’s Provincial U16 Wave Try-outs

The try-out dates are set for the U16 Provincial Wave team. To tryout, players must:

Be a member in good standing with Ringette PEI (registered with an association)

Have a date of birth on or between January 1, 2002 and December 31, 2003

Pay the $50 tryout fee. E-transfer to peiwavefc@gmail.com or cash/cheque at first tryout (cheques made out to Ringette PEI).

Attend at least 75% of the tryouts (unless a special circumstance is presented and approved)

Please note any player selected to a provincial team must attend a minimum of 80% of their local club team’s practices and games.

All players wishing to tryout are asked to pre-register by emailing peiwavefc@gmail.com and provide the following information:

Players Name (First and Last)

Position trying out for (Goalie, Forward, Center, Defence). You can identify more than one.

Describe the jersey they will be wearing for try-outs and if it doesn’t have a number on it, please add a number with tape and provide the number. (For example – Navy Blue National Ringette School jersey with #6 on the back)

Please note as per Ringette PEI policy, there could be a second U16 provincial team selected if there are enough players trying out to field a second team. Any player wishing to play on the second team MUST attend the tryouts listed below.

**There will likely be some fitness testing take place prior to each of these two tryouts, more details to be provided after registration.
